Senior Simulation Engineer (m/f)
Tasks
- Creation of complex simulations (material flow simulations, logistics simulations) for the design of new and optimization of existing production facilities, design of process equipment, media supply and cleaning systems, etc.
- Simulation-based support for projects in all phases from concept to detail and commissioning
- Conducting analyses in close coordination with customers (scenario analysis, statistical analysis)
- Supporting and advising our customers in process development, tech transfer and scale-up of biotechnological production processes
- Data generation, evaluation and visualization in close cooperation with internal data science department
- Development of internal/external interfaces and standards for process simulations of pharmaceutical plants
- Evaluation of new simulation technologies in the pharmaceutical environment
- Management of multidisciplinary project teams
Your Profile
Completed technical training in the field of process engineering, biotechnology, mechanical engineering or physics (diploma/master's degree)
Several years of simulation experience in the field of static/dynamic system simulations or logistics simulations
3 - 8 years of experience with Inosim simulation software
Several years of programming experience, procedural programming in VBA or similar. Knowledge of object oriented programming is an advantage
Independent, self-reliant and solution- and customer-oriented way of working
Ability to work in a team as well as a communicative and organizational personality
Ability to negotiate in German and English
Willingness to travel
