IBDP French Teacher for the academic year 2026-27We are seeking a passionate and qualified IB DP French Teacher to join our team for the upcoming academic year.Job ResponsibilitiesTeach French language courses to students enrolled in the IB Diploma Programme, focusing on language acquisition, literature, and cultural understanding.Develop and implement an engaging and comprehensive curriculum that aligns with IB standards and caters to varied learning styles.Assess and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to enhance language proficiency.Create a dynamic classroom environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and collaboration.Prepare students for the IB French examinations, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate the French language and culture into interdisciplinary projects and activities.Participate in department meetings, ongoing professional development, and IB training opportunities.Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.QualificationsMaster’s degree in French, Education, or a related field; or IB teaching certification preferred.Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in the IB Diploma Programme.Excellent proficiency in both French and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.A deep understanding of IB philosophy and pedagogy, particularly in the context of language acquisition.Passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive classroom environment.Strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
