AutoSys Job Scheduling SpecialistAs an experienced AutoSys job scheduling specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient job schedules using Broadcom AutoSys. Your primary focus will be on creating and managing JIL scripts for job definitions, as well as monitoring and troubleshooting job failures, delays, and performance issues.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement job schedules that optimize resource utilization and minimize downtime.Develop and manage JIL scripts to create and modify job definitions.Monitor and troubleshoot job failures, delays, and performance issues to ensure seamless operations.Collaborate with application teams to onboard new batch jobs and workflows.Implement job dependencies, calendars, and alerts to ensure smooth operations.Perform impact analysis and change management for job modifications.Maintain accurate documentation for job flows, standards, and best practices.Required Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience with Broadcom AutoSys Workload Automation (v11.x or higher).Strong scripting skills in languages such as Shell, Python, or Perl.Proficiency in JIL scripting and AutoSys command-line utilities.Familiarity with job scheduling concepts, dependencies, and calendars.Experience working in Unix/Linux environments and basic system administration.Understanding of ITIL processes and change management.Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Preferred Qualifications:Experience integrating AutoSys with other tools such as ServiceNow or Jenkins.Knowledge of database systems and SQL scripting.Exposure to cloud platforms.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
