We are committed to excellence through digital transformation, ERP integration, and modern infrastructure that enhances institutional efficiency and student experience.Position OverviewThe ERP and IT Team Manager will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, operation, and optimization of the institution’s ERP system, as well as managing all IT infrastructure, software, and hardware assets. This role demands a strong mix of technical expertise, leadership, and problem-solving skills to ensure seamless academic and administrative automation.Key ResponsibilitiesERP ManagementOversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of the institutional ERP platform.Coordinate with vendors (e.g., VM Edulife, ExtraaEdge, Meritto, Zoho) for integration, updates, and support.Manage user roles, data integrity, and security protocols across all departments.Train faculty and administrative staff on ERP usage and generate analytical dashboards for management.Develop process automation workflows for admissions, accounts, HR, examination, and academics.Ensure regular data backup, uptime, and compliance with institutional policies.IT Infrastructure ManagementManage all hardware assets — desktops, laptops, printers, networking equipment, biometric systems, and servers.Plan and execute preventive maintenance and upgradation of systems.Oversee software licensing, antivirus deployment, and firewall security.Troubleshoot hardware/software/network issues in coordination with IT support staff.Ensure reliable internet connectivity, data security, and cybersecurity compliance.Maintain IT inventory, AMC contracts, and vendor communications.Team Leadership and CoordinationLead a team of ERP operators, IT technicians, and system administrators.Allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure timely issue resolution.Collaborate with departmental heads to identify digital transformation needs.Coordinate with the management team to implement new tools or technologies.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / MCA / B.Tech (CSE/IT) or related field.Minimum 5+ years of experience in ERP management and IT operations (preferably in an academic or institutional setup).Strong command over ERP platforms, database management (MySQL/SQL Server), and cloud integration.Proficiency in Windows/Linux environments, networking, and data backup systems.Knowledge of CRM integration, website management, and digital dashboards.Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.Leadership ability to manage a multidisciplinary IT team and vendor relations.Preferred AttributesExperience with educational ERPs (VM Edulife, Meritto, ExtraaEdge, etc.).Understanding of data privacy laws, institutional automation, and digital marketing integration.Problem-solving mindset with ability to handle system-level crises efficiently.RemunerationCompetitive salary based on qualifications and experience.Accommodation and other benefits as per institutional norms.How to ApplyInterested candidates may send their updated resume and cover letter to hr@hgpi.in with the subject line: “Application for ERP & IT Team Manager – [Your Name]”
