We are looking for a bright and passionate Digital Modelling - CAS with the skills below


Role & Responsibilities


  • Developing CAS / Styling concept models using Alias Surface from sketches, renderings, scan data and designer’s inputs ; referring to vehicle package and engineering inputs for achieving package clearances.
  • Maturing the CAS surface models into Class A incorporating engineering criteria , incorporating supplier / tooling feedback through several iterations without losing the design intent to deliver a fully feasible set of Class A models.
  • Quick concept modelling using Poly modelling tools like Alias SubDiv / Blender for volume & shape understanding.
  • Experience of working on both exterior and interiors of automotive projects.
  • Ability to handle both scan to surf and sketch to surf workflows.
  • Ability to create Visualisation renderings in Vred / Keyshot / Blender and compose in Photoshop.
  • Team player , an ability to coordinate & work collaboratively with design and engineering teams.
  • Result oriented and should be able to deliver on time bound projects.


Education


  • M.Des / B. Des / PG Diploma – Transportation Design / Product Design / Industrial Design
  • BE / ME – Mechanical / Production Engg from reputed institution with a specialized course in Digital Modelling / Digital Sculpting
