About the jobJob Opening: Mechanical Design Engineer (Contract)Location: BengaluruContract Type: Full-time, OnsiteExperience Required: 4 YearsAbout the RoleWe are looking for a highly motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join on a contract basis. The engineer will work full-time from our office and support ongoing design and development projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical design, CAD modeling, and product development lifecycle.Key Responsibilities- Create and modify 2D/3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings.- Work on design and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and products.- Perform tolerance analysis, material selection, and GD&T application.- Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electronics, testing, manufacturing).- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and project requirements.Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design.- Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks/Creo/AutoCAD or equivalent).- Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability.- Familiarity with GD&T, engineering documentation, and BOM creation.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.Contract Details- Engagement: Contractual, Full-time (onsite at client office).- Duration: 3 months minimum- Start Date: Immediate.- Compensation: 50,000
