  • Responsibilities - [List the main job duties and what the role will entail.]
  • Sound technical knowledge in GST laws through advising on complex GST issues and establishing best practices.
  • Well versed with other Indirect Taxes viz. Service Tax & VAT Laws and having good practical exposure in handling compliances and litigations.
  • Collation of facts and details from relevant teams for preparation of submissions/ replies to various tax notices, show cause notices, drafting appeals, etc.
  • Representation before Tax Authorities, Appellate Authorities for tax related matters.
  • Assistance in Internal & External reviews & audits, liaising with Statutory Auditors in tax matters.
  • Practical and commercial approach and ensuring technical excellence.
  • The person will be required to give professional advice, both written and in person, on GST implications.
  • Identifying and addressing areas of GST risk, advising teams/ agencies on the GST implication of transactions and assist them in complying with GST regulations.
  • Role will also include building & maintaining relationship with Agencies and helping people to develop through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring junior members in team.
