Associate, Investments (Web3 & VC) Hashed Emergent is hiring a full-time Investment Associate to join our venture team at the intersection of technology, investing, and the Web3 ecosystem. You will operate as a core member of the investment function, working end to end across thesis, sourcing, diligence, deal execution, and portfolio value creation. You will work as embedded members of our investment team, gaining front-row access to deal flow from some of the most promising startups in the region and globally. You will collaborate directly with our partners on end-to-end venture capital processes, from thesis creation to deal execution to portfolio value creation. It’s a launchpad for the next generation of Web3 investors, founders, and ecosystem leaders. Responsibilities: Conducting market analysis, primary and secondary research on different domains under web3 ecosystem, authoring deeply analysed thematic reports Spot tomorrow’s web3 unicorns today by researching and building theses on emerging Web3 trends. Track adoption of blockchain across non-crypto industries, identifying high-impact crossover opportunities. Source, qualify, and evaluate startups using both top-down and bottom-up approaches. Lead deep-dive diligence on product, technology, market, and founding teams. Craft compelling investment memos and present directly to the Investment Committee. Support negotiations and deal execution with founders, investors, and ecosystem partners. Work closely with portfolio companies to help them integrate Web3 capabilities and scale faster. Represent Hashed Emergent at top-tier conferences, closed-door investor gatherings, and founder communities. Publish articles on emerging Web3 themes to position yourself and Hashed Emergent as an authority in the space. Conduct comprehensive diligence (product, people, technology, market) to maximise investment success. Requirements: 2+ years of experience in venture capital, private investing, top-tier consulting, investment banking, or a high-impact role at a crypto-native or frontier-tech startup. Strong understanding of crypto ecosystems, developer communities, token networks, and protocol positioning. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, collaborate across stakeholders, and deliver on tight timelines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to turn research into crisp narratives. High ownership, attention to detail, and operational discipline in a fast-paced, high-trust environment. Bonus: experience organizing Web3 events, building internal playbooks, or supporting GTM teams.
