Job SummaryThe Sales Engineer will be responsible for end-to-end sales development from opportunity identification and client engagement to proposal preparation, negotiation, and order closure across Building Management Systems, Industrial Automation, and Extra-Low Voltage domains.Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities in the PAN India region.Engage with consultants, contractors, facility management teams, and end clients to understand project requirements and propose suitable solutions.Conduct site surveys, requirement analysis, and technical evaluations to prepare accurate solution offerings.Key Responsibilities - Sales EngineerDevelop and present technical proposals, system architectures, BOQs, compliance statements, and cost estimations aligned with automation platforms.Prepare and manage tender submissions ensuring full compliance with project specifications, drawings, and scope documents.Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and solution briefings to support client decision-making.Manage the entire sales cycle including lead generation, proposal submission, follow-up, negotiation, and order finalization.Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure long-term engagement and repeat business.Qualifications & ExperienceB.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics.5–7 years of proven Sales experience in Building Management Systems, Industrial Automation, and Extra-Low Voltage Solutions.Strong exposure to Schneider EcoStruxure (EBO/PME), Siemens Desigo/SIMATIC, and Allen-Bradley systems.Good understanding of DDC, PLC, SCADA, HMI, and integrated control solutions.Knowledge of HVAC automation, lighting controls, and energy management systems.Familiarity with ELV systems: Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, PA SystemsSoftware Proficiency: AutoCAD, MS Project, and other automation configuration tools.Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.Strong understanding of project workflows, engineering deliverables, and timelines.
