Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Capture Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the capture process for IT services opportunities within the Federal government sector. The Capture Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new business opportunities, as well as developing strategies to win contracts.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Opportunity Assessment:

- Conduct thorough analysis of potential opportunities within the Federal government market.

- Identify and evaluate potential target customers and contracts.

- Assess competitive landscape and develop strategies to differentiate our offerings.

2. Proposal Development:

- Lead cross-functional teams in developing winning proposal strategies.

- Collaborate with subject matter experts, business development, and technical teams to create compelling proposals.

- Ensure compliance with all solicitation requirements.

3. Relationship Building:

- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders within target agencies.

- Engage with industry partners, subcontractors, and teaming arrangements to enhance our competitive position.

4. Capture Strategy Development:

- Develop comprehensive capture plans outlining win themes, pricing strategy, teaming approach, etc.

- Work closely with internal stakeholders to align resources towards successful captures.

5. Competitive Intelligence:

- Gather intelligence on competitor activities and capabilities.

- Utilize market research data to inform capture strategy decisions.

6. Risk Management:

-Proactively identify risks associated with pursuing specific opportunities; develop mitigation plans accordingly.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (Masters preferred).

2.Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in federal government contracting environment focusing on IT services

3.Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal procurement processes, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and government contracting vehicles such as GSA Schedules, GWACs, and IDIQ contracts.

4. Skills:

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Proven track record in leading successful capture efforts resulting in contract awards.

- Strong project management and negotiation skills.
