Job Description:The role is situated in the UAE and involves collaborating with a leading organization in renewable energy innovation across the Middle East.This position requires an Engineering Leader to drive technical excellence behind hybrid renewable power plants combining Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).Responsibilities include overseeing the design and integration of advanced Plant Master Controllers (PMC), ensuring seamless coordination between PV, BESS, and grid systems.This role will involve working at the intersection of SCADA, EMS, and grid integration to shape control philosophies that meet demanding grid code and system operator requirements.Key tasks include designing PMC response and grid-forming capabilities for standalone restoration and islanded operation, overseeing PMC integration with SCADA, BMS, and substation control systems, and conducting vendor technical evaluations.Our ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and in-depth knowledge of SCADA, EMS, and grid systems.A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with a talented team, and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.Benefits include a competitive salary, comprehensive health insurance, and a generous retirement plan.We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
