High-Level Overview:This is a long-term contract position with a prominent technology leader.Automate functional, regression, and end-to-end testing using Cypress/Playwright for improved efficiency and reliability.Collaborate with engineering teams to define testing strategies, acceptance criteria, and release quality standards.Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility through automation suites.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain pipeline stability.Implement test reporting, dashboards, and quality analytics for data-driven insights.Efficiently diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve automation failures.Promote best practices in QA automation and contribute to continuous process improvements.Key Skills and Qualifications:Hands-on experience with Cypress and/or Playwright.Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.API testing experience, including mocking frameworks like Postman or similar tools.Strong debugging and analytical problem-solving skills.Exposure to performance testing and visual regression testing.Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.Preferred / Secondary Skills:Experience with Jenkins, Shell scripting, Java, and AWS.Knowledge of integrating automation within modern DevOps ecosystems.Primary Skills: Cypress/Playwright, JavaScript/Typescript, PostmanSecondary Skills: Jenkins, Java, Shell Scripting, AWSAs a top global technology leader, we promote a progressive and inclusive work culture, encourage innovation and collaboration, and provide a flexible learning environment.
