We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Consultant SpecialistIn this role, you will:Application developer role for front to back system for Bonds, Credit derivatives and IR derivatives tradingPropose and deliver sustainable solutions for the application including but not limited to business use case, DevOps, infrastructure, resiliency, and monitoringContribute to new age tooling and improvisation of existing tech stack and processUnderstand department's design principles, represent application in design review forums and interact with IT management and department engineering / tooling forumsTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:9+ years of experience in supporting mission critical application.Good hands-on Google Cloud (GCP) setup/project infrastructure Excellent hands-on core Java and Sprint bootHands on microservices architecture and applied design principlesPrior experience on development of Valuation engine/ quants engagement would be preferredKnowledge on nosql db / MongoDB/ postgres preferredExcellent trouble shooting skills.Well versed with Devops tool such Jenkins, RunDeck.Ability to learn new things quicker and use in Agile mannerYou'll achieve more when you join HSBC.HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
