Developer

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

  • Experience in RedHat Linux 6.x, 7.x administration
  • Knowledge of one or more scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python)
  • Good experience in OS Patching and upgrades
  • Experience in resolving BAU issues
  • Experience providing on call and out of hours support


Good-to-Have

  • Good experience in Capacity management
  • Experience managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications
  • Demonstrable experience in supporting and managing a large number of complex multi-server, multi-vendor, multi-technology infrastructures
  • Good to have knowledge of other Unix flavor e.g. (Ubuntu, AIX) will be helpful
  • Good to have RedHat certification
