The Senior Architect is responsible for leading the design and development of architectural projects from concept through to completion. This role involves overseeing project teams, ensuring design quality and compliance with client and regulatory requirements, and managing client relationships.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architecture, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Leadership: Lead the design process for architectural projects, including conceptual design, development, and detailed design. Ensure that design solutions meet client requirements and project goals.
Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing all phases of project development, including planning, design, documentation, and construction. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Client Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns throughout the project lifecycle. Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Team Management: Supervise and mentor junior architects and design staff. Provide guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
Quality Control: Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documentation. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Collaboration: Coordinate with other professionals such as engineers, contractors, and consultants to integrate various aspects of project design and execution.
Innovation: Stay updated with the latest architectural trends, technologies, and best practices. Incorporate innovative solutions into project designs.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve design and construction issues as they arise, finding creative and effective solutions to challenges. Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture from an accredited institution.
Skills:
Proficient in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
