The ideal candidate has expertise in US tax law, construction-specific tax treatment, and multi-entity structures.This includes:Managing preparation of US federal and state tax returns for contractors and developers.Overseeing multi-state apportionment analysis, nexus studies, and compliance across jurisdictions.Coordinating tax treatment of percentage-of-completion (POC) and completed-contract methods, including look-back calculations under IRC §460.Reviewing and advising on depreciation strategies, including Section 179 and bonus depreciation for heavy equipment and fixed assets.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.CPA or EA required; MST or equivalent advanced tax qualification preferred.7–10 years of US tax experience with construction or real estate clients.The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of US tax laws and regulations.They will be able to analyze complex tax scenarios, develop effective solutions, and provide guidance to stakeholders.
