Founded in 2012, we operate on a traditional hedge fund model.Our senior partner worked at two renowned hedge funds in New York as an Investment Analyst from 2005 until 2012.We endeavour to apply the principles of stock selection practiced by top global investment firms to emerging markets.The strategy of our fund is rooted in fundamental research and investment decisions are based on a medium to long term outlook on the market and the sector that it operates in.Expertise lies in seeking undervalued situations and abnormal market movements, then conducting in-depth valuation on what is priced in and how that is likely to change.Our team is small with a flat organisation structure.The Junior Analyst will be responsible for:Financial modelling, financial analysis, and forming an investment thesis on the marketTracking down and analysing industry/company data points available in the public domainMaking presentations and presenting convincing ideas to the teamAdministrative responsibilities shared by all team membersThe ideal candidate has a keen interest in capital markets, strong skills in financial modelling and valuing companies, and prior experience building operating and financial models. They must know basic equity valuation principles and have exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills. Attention to detail is essential.
