Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to oversee and manage all aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works on the project site in Rishikesh. The role involves project planning, on-site execution, quality assurance, and ensuring that all MEP systems are installed, tested, and delivered as per project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

MEP Project Execution

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all MEP installations on the project site.
  • Ensure timely execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems as per approved drawings and project schedules.

Technical Review & Coordination

  • Review MEP designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure feasibility and compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and vendors for smooth project execution.

Quality Assurance & Safety

  • Ensure the quality of materials and workmanship meets project standards.
  • Implement safety protocols and compliance with regulations during installation and testing of MEP systems.

Testing & Commissioning

  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during testing phases.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare and maintain daily/weekly progress reports on MEP activities.
  • Document project updates, equipment logs, material usage, and site issues.

Vendor & Material Management

  • Monitor material procurement, delivery, and usage for MEP-related works.
  • Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors for timely material supply and equipment installation.

Budget Management

  • Track MEP-related expenses and ensure work is completed within the allocated budget.

Key Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.

Experience:

8 to 10 years of experience in MEP works, preferably in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.

Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems (LT/HT panels, transformers, etc.), plumbing, fire protection systems, and associated equipment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools (e.g., MS Project/Primavera).
  • Experience in handling testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of MEP systems.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership, team management, and coordination skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical judgment.
  • Effective communication and reporting skills.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to work full-time on the field at Rishikesh.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including contractors and vendors.
  • Strong knowledge of site safety standards and regulatory compliance.
