Backend Software Engineer

Job OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled backend developer to join our growing technical team.You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining scalable APIs, real-time systems, and backend architecture for our ride app.Your key responsibilities will include:Designing and implementing high-performance backend servicesBuilding REST APIs for drivers, users, rides, payments, tracking etc.Implementing real-time communication (WebSockets / Socket.IO)Managing database structure (MySQL / PostgreSQL)Integrating OTP/Auth, booking engine, safety featuresWriting clean and optimized codeTroubleshooting and improving system performanceYou will work directly with the founder and engineering partners to build cutting-edge technology solutions.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:Strong hands-on experience with Node.js / Express / NestJSStrong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScriptExperience with SQL DatabasesExperience building REST APIsUnderstanding of real-time systems (Socket.IO preferred)Experience integrating 3rd-party services (SMS, payment, maps etc.)Problem-solving and debugging skills1–3 years of backend development experience (freshers with strong skills can apply)BenefitsThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing startup and contribute to building a real product from scratch.You will have the freedom to create and innovate, working directly with the founder and engineering partners.We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for growth and professional development.We believe in providing a healthy work-life balance, and we strive to maintain a positive and productive team culture.
