Job Title: AM/Manager//Senior Manager/AVP - IC Role (Depending upon your overall experience and current title)

Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid Model - 1 or 2 days in Office)

CES is looking for an experienced accountant in the Client’s corporate accounting division looking to progress into a managerial role who will lead and own their assigned responsibilities.

The accountant will be assigned management company accounting duties, which include self-performing tasks. The assignment of responsibilities will include balance sheet account reconciliations, billing and management of receivables, and income statement flux analysis, but can extend across various areas of management accounting, which may be rotated time to time to cultivate all-around knowledge across management accounting for upward opportunities. In addition, the accountant will have opportunities to master the Firm’s policy, processes, and practices, and will play a key role in management reporting and ongoing process improvements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be an integral part of the Firm’s management company accounting practices within the corporate accounting department
  • Liaise with various functional and business unit leaders (legal, compliance, fund accounting, CFO, portfolio managers, etc.)
  • Understand and review for correct general ledger account and dimension coding
  • Perform reconciliation, resolve discrepancies, and report on key accounts for the corporate accounting department
  • Assist, perform and review general accounting month and quarter-end entries and fluctuation analyses
  • Assist in ad-hoc requests from management
  • Maintain policies and procedures and enforce compliance with company policies and the approvals thereof
  • Management of outstanding receivables including collection process, following up and clearing aged items
  • Identify and implement process improvements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Chartered Accountant is mandatory
  • Experience in accounting, auditing, and/or consulting roles
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Attention to detail and desire to have accurate, timely and meaningful reporting
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Must be able to work independently as a part of a team
  • Experience leading a meeting
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Experience in Microsoft D365 is a plus
