Lab Assistant(Chemical/Fertilizer Industry)

Key Responsibilities:Sample Handling & Testing:Receive, label, and organize raw material, in-process, and finished product samples.Assist in conducting chemical, physical, and fertilizer analysis under the guidance of chemists.Record test results accurately in lab logs or software systems.Laboratory Maintenance:Clean, sterilize, and maintain laboratory equipment and glassware.Ensure reagents, chemicals, and consumables are stocked and properly stored.Calibrate laboratory instruments and assist in routine maintenance.Safety & Compliance:Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols at all times.Handle hazardous chemicals safely and dispose of waste as per regulatory guidelines.Maintain lab hygiene and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Documentation & Reporting:Prepare daily/weekly reports of lab activities and test results.Assist in maintaining records for audits and inspections.Support chemists and quality control team in data analysis and report preparation.Support Activities:Assist in experiments, pilot trials, and quality control procedures.Help senior staff with procurement of lab chemicals and supplies.Participate in training sessions and skill development programs.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per monthBenefits:Health insuranceLife insuranceProvident FundEducation:Bachelor's (Required)Work Location: In person
