We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our growing team.

Job Description

As a Senior Frontend Developer at AccunAI, you will be key in creating, mentoring, designing, developing, and maintaining web applications with a focus on user experience and performance. You will collaborate closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality results.

Responsibilities

- Web Application Development: Develop applications that provide high quality data preprocessing facilities like Image/Video Annotations, Audio Transcription/Annotation/Segmentation, Text Labelling and in the similar tasks.
- Front-End Development: Collaborate with UI/UX designers to transform design mockups into responsive and interactive web applications using React.js.
- Code Optimization: Ensure the performance, scalability, and maintainability of the applications by writing clean, efficient, and reusable code.
- State Management: Implement state management solutions such as Redux or Mobx to manage application data effectively.
- Integration: Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to enhance application functionality.
- Testing: Write unit tests and perform thorough testing to ensure the reliability and stability of the applications.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Bug Fixing: Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and bottlenecks in a timely manner.
- Documentation: Document code, technical specifications, and project progress to ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend developers, and project managers, to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Ownership: Owning solutions from end to end, managing complexity, and engaging with stakeholders to think through everything from success metrics to the ergonomics of individual APIs.
- Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of front-end engineers.
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in React.js and web development to suggest improvements and innovative solutions.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from a top-tier college.
- 3+ years of experience in front-end web development, with at least 2-3 years in JavaScript frameworks like React and 1-2 years specifically in React JS.
- Experience working with libraries that handle multimedia data, including image, audio, and video, for tasks such as streaming, editing, and labelling.
- Experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Knowledge of state management tools like Redux, Mobx, etc.
- Strong understanding of core JavaScript principles and fundamentals.
- Good knowledge of the DOM, APIs, and their performance impacts.
- In-depth understanding of HTML5 and CSS, with the ability to make decisions for responsive UI design.
- Familiarity with popular JavaScript tools, frameworks, and design principles, and a desire to stay updated with the JavaScript ecosystem.
- Strong grasp of UI performance metrics and how to capture and interpret them.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for sharing best practices and improving team discipline.
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document browser/platform compatibility issues and standards.
- Experience using version control systems like GitHub/GitLab.
- Passion for code quality, extensibility, and simple architecture design.
- Comfortable working in an open, highly collaborative team environment.
