Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Work Permit Receiver (WPR) to oversee the safe execution of work activities as per Aramco project standards. The WPR will ensure compliance with the company’s permit-to-work (PTW) system, facilitating effective communication between the site teams and permit issuers. The role requires a strong understanding of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) practices and the ability to manage multiple permits efficiently in a high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Permit-to-Work Management:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for receiving, reviewing, and executing work permits in compliance with Aramco standards.
  • Ensure permits are accurately completed and aligned with job requirements before work begins.
  • Coordination & Communication:
  • Liaise between site management, supervisors, and the issuer of permits to ensure all safety measures are addressed.
  • Communicate effectively with site teams to ensure they understand the permit requirements, restrictions, and safety precautions.
  • Safety Assurance:
  • Conduct on-site checks to ensure compliance with safety guidelines and permit conditions.
  • Monitor work areas for potential hazards and enforce corrective actions if necessary.
  • Stop work immediately if unsafe conditions arise and report incidents promptly.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of all work permits issued, closed, or canceled.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to supervisors regarding permit status and site activities.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure all activities comply with Aramco safety regulations, environmental policies, and PTW procedures.
  • Participate in audits and inspections related to permit-to-work processes.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Work Permit Receiver, preferably on Aramco or similar oil & gas projects.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Aramco PTW procedures and HSE standards.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
  • Aramco-approved Work Permit Receiver certification.
  • HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).

Additional Requirements

  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Willingness to work in remote project locations.
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
