Job Summary:

Resolute Corp is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Architect to design, implement, and manage our data architecture. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in data architecture, database design, and cloud platforms. They will be responsible for developing and optimizing a scalable, flexible, and secure data infrastructure that unifies our data from multiple vendor platforms, enabling data-driven decision-making and analytics solutions across the organization.


Key Responsibilities:


Data Architecture Design:

  • Design and develop a unified data architecture that centralizes siloed data from different vendor platforms into a cohesive data foundation.
  • Ensure that the architecture is scalable, flexible, secure, and optimized for the organization’s data needs.
  • Collaborate with business units and analytics teams to ensure that data systems support business goals and analytics solutions.


Data Integration:

  • Lead the integration of disparate data sources, ensuring seamless data flow across different systems.
  • Design ETL/ELT processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into a central repository (e.g., data warehouse, data lake).
  • Work closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure data is ingested and processed efficiently and securely.


Database and Cloud Management:

  • Design, develop, and optimize relational and non-relational databases.
  • Manage cloud-based data infrastructure, utilizing platforms such as Azure , AWS , or Google Cloud .
  • Implement best practices for data storage, backup, disaster recovery, and database security.


Data Governance and Compliance:

  • Establish data governance policies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Define and enforce data security protocols, including data access control, encryption, and auditing.
  • Maintain the integrity, quality, and reliability of data across the organization.


Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Work with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to define data architecture requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership in data design and implementation, mentoring junior engineers and supporting cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate architectural decisions, progress, and challenges to senior management and non-technical stakeholders.


Technology Evaluation and Implementation:

  • Evaluate new data technologies and platforms, recommending improvements or adopting new tools to enhance data architecture.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in big data, cloud platforms, and database technologies to ensure the company uses cutting-edge solutions.



Qualifications:


Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , Data Science , or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.


Experience:

  • 7-10 years of experience in data architecture , data engineering , or a similar role.
  • Extensive experience designing and managing databases (both relational and non-relational).
  • Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines , data integration , and working with large datasets.
  • Proven experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS , Azure , or Google Cloud .
  • Familiarity with data governance , security protocols , and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).


Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL , Python , and database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL , MySQL , MongoDB ).
  • Strong knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop , Spark , and Kafka .
  • Experience in data modeling and building scalable data architectures.
  • Familiarity with data orchestration tools like Apache Airflow , AWS Glue , or Azure Data Factory .
  • Knowledge of data lakes and data warehouses (e.g., Redshift , BigQuery , Snowflake ).


Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with business, engineering, and analytics teams.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
