Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, this role will be based in Chevron's office in Bengaluru.Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, and work hours are aligned to business needs. Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday. These may evolve based on operational or business requirements.Key responsibilitiesThe Integrated Operations Center (IOC) Engineer is part of the Facilities Process Engineering organization within the Chevron ENGINE Center and is responsible for monitoring and optimizing the performance of our Shale and Tight (S&T) assets. This role utilizes industry knowledge to enhance operational efficiency and reliability through effective data interpretation and reporting. Analyzes IOC trends and data to detect common issues across all regions, identify performance drift or workflow inconsistency, and provide insights supporting leading indicators.Real-Time Monitoring: Continuously monitor operational data from shale and tight oil and gas assets using advanced monitoring systems. Identify and respond to anomalies, ensuring swift resolution of issues.Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Generate reports and provide actionable insights to operations teams and management.Operational Coordination: Collaborate closely with field teams to coordinate timely responses to operational challenges. Ensure effective communication and alignment between the Integrated Operations Center and field operations.Performance Optimization: Support efforts to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime by implementing best practices and recommending operational improvements.Technology Utilization: Leverage digital tools and technologies to enhance data visibility and operational decision-making. Stay updated on emerging technologies that could improve IOC capabilities.Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the capabilities and performance of IOC systems.Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all operational activities monitored comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
