Job Description: SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) & SAC Architect Job Title: SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) & SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Architect Location: Hyderabad (EFO) Employment Type: (Full-time / Contract) Experience: 10+ years ⭐ Job Description – Senior Data Architect (SAC + Datasphere + Business Data Cloud) – 10+ Years Role Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Architect / Lead Analytics Engineer with deep expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Datasphere, and modern Business Data Cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience designing enterprise-scale data architectures, building analytics solutions, and delivering cloud-based data modernization projects. This role requires strong hands-on technical capability, solution design skills, and leadership in driving data strategy, governance, and integration across cloud & SAP ecosystems. Key Responsibilities 1. SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Design and deliver SAC stories, dashboards, and planning models Build advanced calculation views, models, KPIs, and analytical queries Integrate SAC with Datasphere, S4/HANA, BW/4HANA, and other SAP sources Implement SAC Planning, forecasting, predictive models Manage lifecycle: modeling → story design → deployment → optimization 2. SAP Datasphere / SAP Data Warehouse Cloud Architect and manage Datasphere layers (data builder, business builder, analytic models) Build data pipelines, federated access, and harmonized semantic models Integrate Datasphere with: S/4HANA BW/4HANA Snowflake Databricks Azure/AWS/GCP ecosystems Optimize performance, governance, security, and data lineage 3. Business Data Cloud (BDC) Solutions (Example: Snowflake, Databricks, Google BigQuery, Azure Data Lake) Architect and implement cloud data platforms, data lakes, and data mesh designs Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, DBT, Delta Live Tables, or similar tools Build end-to-end data models, fact/dimension layers, and unified semantic layers Enable enterprise-wide analytics for Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Operations 4. Data Engineering & Integration Build robust data ingestion pipelines using: SQL Python / PySpark SAP Datasphere Data Flow SAP BTP Integration Suite Integrate SAP + Non-SAP sources into business data layer Define data quality, governance, cataloging, and lineage standards 5. Architecture Leadership Design future-state enterprise data architecture Lead data modernization initiatives (SAP → Cloud) Mentor junior engineers and analytics developers Collaborate with business SMEs to define KPIs and data products
