About KWA Analytics: We are a global organisation offering a comprehensive range of consulting services for trade lifecycle management to clients involved in energy, commodities, shipping, treasury, central banking, capital markets, and asset/investment management. We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Principal Consultant to join our team, specializing in QA activities for our Trading Platforms. This role will be focused on ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of trading systems, with a primary emphasis on the Endur tool used for energy and commodities trading. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality assurance for financial or trading applications, with expertise in Endur/Findur and a deep understanding of trading operations. As a Principal Consultant, you will work closely with the development teams, business stakeholders, and QA teams to drive and implement testing strategies, identify risks, and provide valuable insights into platform improvements, all while ensuring adherence to best practices in IT and QA processes.Roles & Responsibilities• Lead and execute QA activities on the Trading Platform, focusing on ensuring the functionality, performance, and stability of the platform across various environments• Own and manage the QA lifecycle for the trading platform, including planning, test case development, execution, and defect management• Work closely with trading and IT teams to understand system requirements, user needs, and business processes to identify critical areas for testing• Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for Endur and related tools, including integration, regression, functional, and performance testing• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to ensure proper testing coverage for new functionalities, features, and system integrations• Leverage knowledge of Endur (or similar trading platforms) to identify potential risks, assess system behaviour, and ensure that critical trading workflows are functioning correctly• Mentor and guide junior QA team members, providing support for both technical and non-technical issues• Define, implement, and enforce QA best practices, standards, and methodologies across all projects• Ensure the integrity of test data, environments, and processes, maintaining a high standard of testing quality and accuracy• Support user acceptance testing and assist with training and knowledge transfer for internal stakeholders• Identify and document defects, track issues to resolution, and ensure timely delivery of quality software• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating the effectiveness of current QA practices and recommending process improvements• Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and techniques to improve the overall QA processesSkill and Qualifications• Minimum 5+ years of Endur Experience.Business and technology solutions for energy, commodity, shipping, treasury, and financial markets• Extensive experience in QA within trading or financial platforms, with a focus on testing complex trading systems• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Endur or similar trading platforms• Experience in functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT testing within a complex trading environment• Solid understanding of trading workflows, financial products, and market data in relation to trading platforms• Experience working with test automation frameworks• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies, with the ability to work in fast-paced, iterative environments• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers• Proven experience in risk assessment and test planning for mission-critical applications• Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and provide guidance to junior team members• Exposure to and understanding of the full trade lifecycle allied with strong knowledge of the system business processes• Understanding of software implementation and testing principles• Demonstrate experience of being proactive, independent and being able to work effectively within and across analysis and delivery teamsProfessional Attributes• Ability to adapt to changing working environments and practices• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Ability to self-motivate and work without supervision• Strong attention to detail• Ability to prioritise workload under pressure Benefits: For the ideal candidate we offer:• A permanent job contract.• Competitive compensation package and allowances for shifts as per industry standards.• 24 days’ vacation plus public holidays and sick leaves• Training and Development• A collaborative team environment.• Flexible working arrangement- Remote working opportunity.• Regular social events.• Family Medical Insurance (Self, Spouse & 2 Kids)• Team Building Activity yearly.
