Job OverviewA leading services firm is seeking a Senior Accountant with extensive expertise in US GAAP and hands-on experience overseeing accounting operations for US-based entities.Accounting Operations: Oversee end-to-end accounting operations for US-based clients/entities, including monthly/quarterly/annual closing under US GAAP.Leadership Skills: Lead and supervise a team of accountants; manage work allocation, performance reviews, and training.Financial Review: Review and finalize financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activities.Compliance: Ensure compliance with US accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.Financial Analysis: Prepare, review, and analyze P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and cross-functional teams for timely filings and audits.Process Improvement: Support system implementations and automation initiatives to improve accounting efficiency.Business Insights: Provide insights and analysis to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have 8+ years of overall experience in accounting, including at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity, and 3+ years specifically handling US accounting standards and reporting.Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.Professional certification (e.g., CPA) or significant progress towards certification.Hands-on experience with accounting software and systems.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team.
