Cloud Infrastructure Architect Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design, build, and maintain highly scalable, secure cloud-native infrastructure for mission-critical production systems. You will be responsible for end-to-end cloud infrastructure delivery, driving automation, optimizing CI/CD frameworks, enforcing best-in-class monitoring, and mentoring junior engineers in cloud architecture excellence.This is a high-impact role offering deep technical ownership, leadership visibility, and the opportunity to shape the next generation of cloud infrastructure for a global technology brand.Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure at scale using Azure.Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including build, test, release, and rollback workflows.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM Templates, or similar frameworks.Design and deploy monitoring, telemetry, and logging systems (ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, Application Insights).Automate operational tasks using scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell) and configuration tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible).Ensure high availability, performance tuning, and reliability across cloud services.Partner with development teams for deployment, monitoring, incident response, and RCA.Uphold strong cloud security, governance, and compliance standards.Mentor junior DevOps engineers on tooling, best practices, and cloud architecture.The ideal candidate will have experience with:Cloud platforms: Azure.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, ARM Templates.CI/CD pipelines: Build, test, release, rollback.Monitoring and logging: ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, Application Insights.Scripting and automation: Bash, Python, PowerShell.Configuration management: Chef, Puppet, Ansible.This role offers:Deep technical ownership and leadership visibility.The opportunity to shape the next generation of cloud infrastructure.A collaborative and dynamic work environment.Please note that this role requires:A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure architecture.Strong knowledge of cloud security, governance, and compliance standards.
