Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and leading a cutting-edge 10 GWh lithium-ion battery pack assembly facility, driving operational excellence, ensuring safety, and delivering high-quality output aligned with business objectives.Main ResponsibilitiesEstablish the greenfield Li-ion battery pack assembly facility from concept to full-scale production.Determine plant layout, equipment selection, installation, automation requirements, and production workflow design.E nsure adherence to project timelines, cost objectives, compliance, and quality standards.Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, EHS, Quality, and Technology teams for seamless commissioning.Oversee full-scale production operations delivering MWh and GWh level containerized battery energy storage solutions.Define and manage KPIs for productivity, yield, safety, delivery, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).E nsure strict compliance with global standards for battery performance, traceability, and EV/BESS industry norms.Drive digital manufacturing implementation including MES, automation, and data-driven decision-making.Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing workforce including experienced senior engineers, supervisors, and technicians.Establish a strong culture of safety, operational discipline, continuous improvement, and accountability.Enable talent development and succession planning to support rapid business scale-up.Work closely with SCM to ensure availability of critical components including cells, modules, BMS, enclosures, and raw materials.Optimize inventory planning, vendor performance, and logistics efficiency for uninterrupted operations.Implement world-class Quality Management Systems (ISO/TS standards).E nsure best-in-class EHS practices tailored to Li-ion battery handling, storage, and manufacturing.E nsure plant operations comply with national and international regulatory requirements.Drive operational excellence initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, and continuous improvement projects.Monitor plant budget, cost drivers, and ensure profitability and productivity targets are met.Key SkillsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Minimum 10 years' experience in managing large-scale industrial projects.Proven track record of success in leadership roles.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies and data analytics.What We OfferA competitive salary package, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth and professional development.
