Senior Business Intelligence Manager Job DescriptionThis pivotal role encompasses the development and execution of a comprehensive business intelligence strategy, leveraging data to inform strategic decision-making and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of organizational data.Lead the formulation and implementation of the organization's BI strategy, aligning it with overarching business goals and objectives.Oversee data analysis activities, including data mining, trend analysis, and predictive modeling, to extract actionable insights and support informed decision-making.Develop and manage intricate reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide stakeholders with timely, relevant, and accurate information.Establish and maintain robust data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, present findings to executives, and drive a data-driven culture within the organization.Manage a team of BI professionals, including data analysts and data engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Manage data mapping, data reconciliation, and data conversion.Prepare departmental performance metrics and monitor expenditure of allocated funds.Recommend and develop plans for systems development and operations, hardware and software purchases, budget, and staffing.Oversee the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information and functional systems for the organization.Create and maintain the network and databases for the company.Ensure stable operation of the network and databases by consistently scheduling and implementing updates and functionality tests; identify and resolve any issues that arise during the testing process.Schedule and produce periodic reports regarding MIS performance.Review reports of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine costs and impact, and address problems promptly.Develop, maintain, and test disaster recovery plans to minimize potential risks.
