If you’re ready to help shape the future of identity security, we want to hear from you.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESBackend system architecture: Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable backend services using Node.js, MongoDB, Redis, and NoSQL systems.End-to-end delivery: Own and deliver complex backend modules, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and cost efficiency.Cloud integration: Deploy and manage infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP, following security and performance best practices.Security by design: Implement cybersecurity best practices, including secure API handling, encryption, and threat mitigation.Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with DevSecOps, frontend engineers, and product managers to deliver robust and secure features.Mentorship and code quality: Conduct code reviews, guide junior developers, and uphold high engineering standards.Security advocacy: Participate in secure code reviews, threat modeling, and contribute to the overall security posture of the product.REQUIREMENTSExperience: 8–12 years of strong backend development experience in product-based, fast-paced environments.Technical skills: Proficient in Node.js, MongoDB, Redis, and asynchronous programming models.Cloud expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and infrastructure best practices.Cybersecurity knowledge: Deep understanding of authentication/authorization flows, OWASP top 10, secure coding, and data privacy.Startup agility: Prior experience in early or growth-stage startups with a bias toward rapid development and problem-solving.Tooling: Familiarity with CI/CD, microservices architecture, Docker/Kubernetes is a big plus.Soft skills: Strong ownership mindset, effective communication, and team leadership.NICE TO HAVESecurity engineering: Experience participating in security reviews and building systems with compliance in mind.Observability and performance: Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and optimization strategies.DevSecOps mindset: Understanding of how engineering decisions impact the product’s threat surface and operational risk.If you’re excited about building resilient, secure systems in a product-driven cybersecurity startup, we’d love to hear from you.
