Microsoft Windows Server Engineer Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced system administrator to join our team. As a system administrator, you will be responsible for providing professional services to our clients, including upgrades, troubleshooting real-time issues, server migrations, and new client deployments.The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of industry experience as an application support specialist, strong troubleshooting skills, and working knowledge of Windows Server, MS SQL Server, and IIS. Experience with AWS, PowerShell, and Octopus Deploy is also desirable.Key Responsibilities:Undertake client-server migrations, upgrades, and deploymentsMonitor, investigate, and respond to application alerts and notificationsManagement and resolution of escalated support tickets within defined OLA and SLA requirementsResponsible for the creation and maintenance of team knowledge, processes, procedures, and operational documentationTroubleshooting, management, and resolution of scripted automation tasksIdentify areas for improvement and make recommendations, then participate in ongoing improvement initiativesProactively escalate and raise issues concerning our products with the relevant product teamsAdherence to company policies and procedures, including change managementContribute to the achievement of SOC2 certifications for our software products
