Job OpportunityThis role offers a unique chance to contribute to the growth of a world-class development and support center, serving as an extension of our US-based software development and support functions.The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data processing and platform services using Java and Big Data frameworks, such as Spark and Hadoop. They will also build and maintain scalable microservices and backend APIs supporting data-driven applications and integrations across systems.Additionally, the successful candidate will deploy, manage, and scale workloads using Kubernetes and containerized environments, working closely with platform and DevOps teams to ensure reliability, automation, and performance. Implementing cloud-native and CI/CD best practices will streamline delivery and operations.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and optimize data processing and platform services using Java and Big Data frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).Build and maintain scalable microservices and backend APIs supporting data-driven applications and integrations across systems.Deploy, manage, and scale workloads using Kubernetes and containerized environments.Required Skills & QualificationsMust-Have:Strong expertise in Java and SpringBoot for backend and data-intensive applications.Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Hive, etc.).Practical knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration and scaling.Nice to Have:Familiarity with Kafka or other real-time streaming systems.Knowledge of RDBMS (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.RequirementsEducation:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Experience:4+ years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer, or Platform Engineer.Personal Qualities:Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, distributed engineering environment.
