Tax Consultant RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Manager- Tax Consultant to join our team in Bangalore. This tax advisory role involves working with a leading transaction advisory firm on mergers and acquisition tax advisory services.Key Responsibilities:Structuring potential mergers and acquisition deals by analyzing financial data, identifying tax implications, and advising clients on optimal structuring strategiesUndertaking slump sales, share transfers, merger, demerger, and restructuring activities to ensure compliance with tax regulationsProviding tax diligence services, including advising on tax implications for the corporate in the mergers deal, and ensuring that clients meet their tax obligationsOffering start-up, real estate, and e-commerce advisory services with focused industry insights to support business growth and expansionFund structuring and advisory services including transaction advisory related to fund raises, shareholder realignments, and investor exits to help clients achieve their financial goalsBusiness model advisory services handling negotiations with strategic investors, spotting deal issues, identifying economic constraints, and risk appetite from the perspective of strategic and private equity investors to ensure successful transactionsFamily succession planning structures to ensure smooth transfer of wealth and assetsPreferred Qualifications:Qualified Chartered Accountant with excellent analytical skills and attention to detailAt least 2 years post-qualification experience in tax consultancy from Big 6 firms (PWC, Deloitte, E&Y, KPMG, etc.)Solid understanding of Direct Taxation/M&As in diverse industriesThe ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
