Job DescriptionNoon is the region's leading consumer commerce platform. It launched its consumer platform in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, expanding to Egypt in February 2019. The noon ecosystem of services includes marketplaces for food delivery, quick-commerce, fintech, and fashion.Noon's mission is to provide seamless customer experiences every day. Key ResponsibilitiesImplement stunning mobile application user interfaces and solve engineering challenges in cross-platform mobile application development using modern technologies and tools.Communicate with highly scalable backend services using REST APIs.Participate in the design phase of new features and be actively involved in seeking suitable solutions.Ensure user interface implementation is visually appealing and easy to use while remaining straightforward to implement, fitting various screen sizes, and suiting both iOS and Android.Localize applications for left-to-right and right-to-left languages while considering accessibility.Be actively involved in designing REST APIs interfaces and ensure they are suitable for communication with mobile applications.Apply software development design patterns that are scalable while being easy to reason about and understand.RequirementsBachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering).Highly skilled in React Native.Extensive knowledge of native mobile application development.Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, and a perfect understanding of JavaScript build tools.Knowledge of handling differences between iOS and Android, including UI design guidelines and performance optimization.Proficient in working with RESTful APIs.Proficient in Git and version control practices.3 years of professional software development experience, with at least 2+ years in React Native.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details.Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and experience working with designers to implement high-quality interfaces.Strong communication skills.What We Look ForPeople with high standards who understand that hard work matters.Relentless resourcefulness and a deep bias for action.The courage to be fiercely original.A readiness to adapt, pivot, and learn.
