This role uses consulting skills, business knowledge, and SAP FI solution expertise to effectively implement and integrate SAP technology into the client’s business environment to achieve the client's expected business results. The SAP FI Consultant will provide subject matter expertise on SAP S/4 HANA FI functionality / SAP RISE in a global business transformation program. Key Skills for the Job SAP Skills: Must be SAP Certified in SAP FI , Must have Generative AI 101 certification ( Gemini, Sap Joule, Claude, Open AI, Claude) Should have experience in configuring New GL, AP, AR, AA, PCA, Foreign currency evaluation, and country-specific taxation and localization Should have Integration knowledge between FI and other logistics modules (e.g. MM, SD, PS) Should have Experience in Treasury / Multi Bank Connector Should have experience with basic PR/PO Processes Should have experience in the Sales contract, Rebate and billing Should know SAP Best Practices with technical implementation experience and good understanding of SAP Activate Methodology Soft skills: Attitude Must have a positive and impactful Consulting Attitude, A Can-do attitude is key for this role. Time Management For the successful delivery of a project, time is of the essence, Hence a task-level time-bound approach would be a key skill the consultant must possess. Should be proactive in communication, understanding customer requirements, aligning deliverables to expectations, and ensuring a seamless experience from planning to execution Working Hours and Travel The majority of Groupsoft customers are based out of North America and Europe, hence working hours flexibility would be required. The p osition will also entail global travel on time to time-to-time basis, hence the candidate must be ready to travel onsite for a short duration. Learning ability Considering SAP products/solutions are always evolving, new versions and technologies learnings are key for consulting success, The consultants need to be on top of the learning curve and keep on building new skills in the different modules of SAP. Key Job Responsibilities The Consultant facilitates the implementation and support of SAP modules to enhance the client’s business functionality and overall performance while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction. Should be able to articulate business requirements and propose SAP solutions. Should have experience in understanding SAP Implementation project methodology, phases, and work as per tight timelines as per project schedules/ resources. Should be able to analyze the current business processes and scenarios of the client and recommend/develop solutions to meet the client's needs. Should be responsible primarily for the successful implementation of the SAP module, providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to clients and other stakeholders. Should have experience in managing complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved procedures. Should demonstrate the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise documentation and discussion. Consultants must have the ability to understand the specific area project risks and be able to engage the right stakeholders on a timely basis. Should be able to contribute to pre-sales, customer demos, Retail roadmaps, Customer POCs Should be able to lead in-house initiatives and focus groups to create knowledge assets and services Should be able to improve efficiency of delivery through knowledge assets & services creation Should be able to ramp up internal colleagues Customer Expectation Management Should have experience in managing customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle with a proactive approach and positive attitude. Eligibility University degree preferred / MBA Finance / CA Minimum of 7+ years of experience in SAP FI Implementation, Configuration, and support Minimum of 3 full lifecycle implementation completed (blueprint through testing) plus some activity on other projects Good to have experience with add on modules such (Group Reporting / Advance Financial Close / Treasury Risk Management / Vertex) Expertise as a Business end user in Retail / Fashion customers would be an added advantage.
