Experience Profile:

  • Worked as ESG anchor/Manager for at least the past 4-6 years
  • Implemented ESG policy and frameworks
  • Prepared and presented the annual ESG report
  • Conducted audits for the ESG targets
  • Liaised with external partners for specific actions
  • Reported metrics and KPI goals
  • Experience in the Logistics sector is preferred
  • Certification in ESG or sustainability (e.g., LEED, ISO 14001) is a plus


About the Role:

The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments and functions to ensure that necessary information is accurately captured in the system on time & that the organization is prepared for internal and external audits. This role also involves comprehensive reporting on progress and initiatives. This profile would act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the "implementation" of the Company's ESG strategy, goals and Compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of Environmental, Social and Governance initiatives across company operations
  • Work with the business and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory ESG requirements ensuring compliance and effective implementation
  • Collaborate with the Business teams and implement ElasticRun's ESG policies and frameworks
  • Be an ESG Subject Matter Expert (SME), driving actions and best practices
  • Conducting Due Diligence for the businesses
  • Capture various data points around the ESG roadmap on the ESG management system, including Policies, Processes, Procedures, and Guides accurately and on time
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain inspection records; investigate complaints and suspected violations
  • Monitor follow-up actions for violations and review compliance monitoring reports to ensure corrective measures are implemented
  • Work with business units to identify and assess ESG-related risks
  • Preparing ESG reports and ensuring compliance with relevant Frameworks like GRI etc and standards like SASB etc
  • Enhance stakeholder engagement through regular and transparent reporting and comprehensive environmental impact assessments
  • Establish KPIs to monitor ESG performance while working with cross-functional teams in risk mitigation efforts
  • Develop and deliver training programs on ESG topics, ensuring organizational awareness
  • Conduct ESG risk assessments in coordination with business and functional teams


Skill Sets:

  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze and interpret large datasets, identify patterns, and draw actionable conclusions to inform ESG strategies
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ESG concepts clearly and effectively across all levels
  • Networking: Well-connected within the ESG consulting community, constantly updated on the latest industry trends, innovations, and best practices
  • Program Management: Proven experience in managing multi-stakeholder initiatives and working with cross-functional teams to drive ESG initiatives and implementation programs (including working locations across the country)
  • Team Player: Strong collaborative skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse teams
  • SEBI BRSR Guidelines: Knowledge of SEBI's Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting (BRSR) framework is an added advantage
  • MultiActions: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
