Risk Data Analyst Intern

Job DescriptionAnalyze and mitigate risks in the financial services industry by delivering high-quality data-driven solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders across product management, data science, and engineering to drive implementation of risk and data analytic strategies.Key Responsibilities:Develop and generate management reports for portfolio monitoring.Collect data, analyze, and identify key differentiating indicators for segmentation and for driving effective risk mitigation and/or marketing strategies.Work closely with partner teams in identifying, evaluating, and recommending new data that helps in overall risk and marketing strategies.Analyze portfolio trends and simulate risk and marketing strategies.Work closely with data science team on model building and deployment.Build scorecards that leverage both internal performance data and external performance data.Perform analysis, develop strategies, and craft presentations that help articulate strategy for the leadership team.Required Skills and QualificationsA quantitative background in engineering, statistics, math or economics or related disciplines is required. Knowledge of database query language (e.g. SQL) and developer tools such as Python, R, databricks in a finance or analytics field is also necessary.
