Seeking a visionary Digital Leader to drive our digital transformation journey and shape the future of our telecom services. With a strong background in IT and telecommunications, the ideal candidate will lead the development and execution of our digital strategy, focusing on enhancing customer experience, operational efficiency, and revenue growth. This role requires a balance of strategic foresight and practical implementation skills to enable digital innovation across the organization.

Job Location: Chennai/ Bangalore/ Hyderabad



Responsibilities:


  • Digital Strategy Development & Execution:
  • • Define and drive the organization’s digital transformation roadmap, aligning with business objectives and market trends.
  • • Identify and prioritize digital initiatives that enhance customer engagement, streamline operations, and foster revenue growth.
  • • Collaborate with executive leadership to shape business models that leverage digital capabilities for competitive advantage.
  • Innovation & Technology Adoption:
  • • Lead the exploration and adoption of next-gen technologies (e.g., AI/ML, IoT, 5G, cloud computing) to drive product innovation and improve service delivery.
  • • Assess emerging technology trends in telecommunications and recommend relevant applications to maintain a competitive edge.
  • • Build partnerships with tech vendors and industry players to support the implementation of new digital solutions.
  • Customer-Centric Digital Transformation:
  • • Champion customer-centric approaches, using data-driven insights to anticipate customer needs and enhance user experience.
  • • Oversee the development and deployment of digital platforms that enable personalized, omnichannel customer engagement.
  • • Leverage customer analytics and feedback to continuously refine digital offerings.
  • Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement:
  • • Drive digital initiatives that improve internal processes and workflows, fostering a culture of efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • • Oversee the implementation of automation, AI, and data analytics to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
  • • Work with business units to ensure process alignment and integration of digital solutions across departments.
  • Leadership & Change Management:
  • • Build and lead cross-functional teams to execute digital initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • • Act as a digital transformation advocate, fostering a digital mindset and encouraging innovation throughout the organization.
  • • Develop talent within the organization by mentoring and guiding teams in digital best practices and emerging trends.
  • Performance Metrics & ROI Tracking:
  • Establish KPIs to monitor the success of digital initiatives, focusing on customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial impact
  • Analyze and report on the ROI of digital investments to ensure strategic objectives are met and deliverables are achieved.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on the progress, challenges, and outcomes of digital transformation efforts.



Qualifications:


  • Technical Skills:
  • • In-depth understanding of digital technologies (AI/ML, 5G, IoT, cloud solutions, automation) and their application in telecom.
  • • Proficiency in digital platforms, CRM, data analytics, and customer experience technologies.
  • • Leadership Skills:
  • • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to drive change, influence stakeholders, and manage cross-functional teams.
  • • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a track record of engaging executive leadership and driving cultural change.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • • Familiarity with agile and digital product development methodologies.
  • • Experience implementing large-scale digital initiatives in a telecom environment, with an understanding of regulatory and industry standards.
  • • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
