The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing real-time data pipelines using the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem.Data Pipeline ArchitectCreate efficient real-time data ingestion pipelines using Apache NiFi.Integrate data pipelines with the GCP ecosystem, including BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, and Composer/Airflow.Maintain low-latency, high-throughput data delivery to downstream systems for analytics and reporting.Develop and optimize SQL queries for BigQuery and relational databases.Write Python scripts for data transformation and automation.Implement data quality, validation, and error-handling mechanisms within ingestion pipelines.Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and platform engineers to deliver consistent datasets.Ensure data security, governance, and compliance with GCP IAM and encryption standards.Analyze and troubleshoot data pipeline performance.Document data flows and architecture to maintain consistency across teams.About This RoleThis position requires a deep understanding of data engineering principles and experience with GCP ecosystem tools. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and ensuring data quality and security.Key QualificationsExpertise in Apache NiFi, SQL, and API integrations.Familiarity with the GCP ecosystem, including BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, and Composer/Airflow.Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices.Experience with data quality, validation, and error-handling mechanisms.Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex data pipeline issues.Excellent collaboration and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
