Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to oversee comprehensive financial operations, ensure robust compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and provide actionable insights for company growth.This role demands deep expertise in US taxation policies, including IRS guidelines, deductions, credits, and filings, while managing all aspects of financial reporting and controls.Prepare accurate financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows) under US GAAP, conduct variance analysis, and deliver monthly/quarterly reports to leadership.Lead US tax strategy, planning, compliance, and filings for federal (IRS Form 1120), state, sales/use, payroll, and property taxes; optimize liabilities through credits, deductions, and transfer pricing while mitigating audit risks.Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, internal/external audits (SOX/PCAOB), and internal controls; identify cost savings and process improvements.Supervise accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, payroll, inventory, and reconciliations using ERP systems like NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks.Collaborate with executives on M&A due diligence, financial modeling, and strategic advisory; mentor finance teams and ensure cross-functional alignment.Required Qualifications:Active CPA license (AICPA/state-certified) with 150 credit hours; Bachelor's/Master's in Accounting, Finance, or related field.7+ years in corporate finance/controller roles, with 3+ years focused on US tax compliance and GAAP reporting.Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros), tax software (UltraTax, CCH Axcess), and ERP/automation tools.Preferred Skills:Expertise in US-specific tax policies (e.g., TCJA updates, nexus rules, R&D credits) and multi-state compliance.Proven leadership in high-growth environments, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.Experience with international transactions or industry-specific accounting (tech/SaaS preferred).
