Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our finance team as a Cost Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for transitioning business unit level costing activities to the finance center of excellence, performing product costing activities in the ERP system (SAP) for markets with centralized costing, and establishing processes for analysis of variances.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the single point of contact for SAP product costing, independently handling entire product costing activities on SAP.Regularly review materials pending for cost release and liaise with markets for timely updates of standard costs.Provide end-to-end support for the release of standard costs following established group methodology for standard cost calculation.Conduct reviews to ensure accuracy of standard costs and review and validate master data components impacting product costing.Operational Analysis:Analyze procurement transactions and identify causes for price variance, review exceptions, and liaise with markets for corrective action.Perform factory variance analysis and consolidation, develop reports providing insights into price and factory variances.Month Close Activities:Review gross stocks and reports providing value of gross stock based on group accounting policy, calculate variance based on group policies.Adhere to standard methodology for calculation of provisions, bring improvements as required.
