AWS Data Engineer PositionWe are seeking a seasoned AWS data engineer to take ownership of systems powering our data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge in AWS services, data integration, and real-time/batch data processing.The key responsibilities include:Designing and maintaining scalable, efficient, and well-partitioned schemas in MSSQL, Redshift, and SnowflakeArchitecting and optimizing complex queries, stored procedures, indexing strategies, and partitioning for large datasetsBuilding, monitoring, and maintaining data pipelines ensuring timely and accurate delivery of data to internal and external consumersOwning and enforcing data refresh SLAs, ensuring availability, consistency, and reliability across production and reporting environmentsCollaborating with software engineers, analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure data models and queries align with product and reporting requirementsProactively identifying and remedying performance bottlenecks, slow queries, and data inconsistenciesImplementing and managing database change workflows using schema migration/versioning toolsDefining and promoting best practices for data access, security, compliance, and observabilityThe required qualifications include:8+ years of experience in database engineering or backend systems developmentDeep expertise with MySQL, Amazon Redshift, and Snowflake, including schema design and performance optimizationHands-on experience with T-SQL, query optimization, and indexing strategiesFamiliarity with source control systems (e.g., Git/Bitbucket) and CI/CD integrationThis position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects and collaborate with experienced professionals in the field.
