Job Summary: As a Associate QA Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Quoting software products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing functional test scripts to verify the functionality of eCommerce-based content management websites. Your expertise in functional testing, automated testing, and best practices will contribute to our overall testing strategy, enabling us to deliver top-notch software to our clients.SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES Review requirements and acceptance criteria for testability; collaborate with the IT Application Delivery team to determine the most effective testing strategyDevelop and document test plans, test scenarios, and test casesDevelop test automation using Java - Selenium and Cucumber BDD frameworkContribute to the design and development of automated testing frameworks and librariesSupport all testing efforts including functional, regression and Performance testing for AEM eCommerce websitesIntegrate test automation into CI/CD process and perform parallel executionsActively Participate in Scrum activitiesVerify end-user expectations are met during the testing process as well as post-implementationAccurately report testing results and progress at appropriate intervals as established by the SQA ManagerConduct research and proactively make recommendations to improve tools and techniquesDocument and report defects; coordinate with appropriate resources to ensure proper tracking and resolution of all defectsQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the expectations of each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required.EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineeringEXPERIENCE 3 to 5 years professional experience as a QA Analyst2+ years with automation framework in Java Selenium and CucumberTECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND/OR ABILITIES: Excellent oral and written communication skills.Must have worked on Java-Selenium automation and BDD Cucumber frameworkMust have worked on eCommerce-based content management projectStrong experience and hands on in functional testing.Must have worked on incorporating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Maven & JenkinsMust have experience working on Agile methodologies within a Scrum team environmentHave experience in Performance testing of web application using JMeterHave experience in configuring and triggering pipelines, Git Hub ActionsFlexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed to meet deadlinesWe are the ASSA ABLOY GroupOur people have made us the global leader in access solutions.
