About the Role

:We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Product Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship. The intern will play a crucial role in building and enhancing our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) product stack which shall range across the areas of Customer Acquisition, Order Conversion, P&L Optimization and Growth. Key Responsibilities: Benchmarking Competition:  Conduct thorough research and analysis of competitors to understand market trends and identify areas for product development and enhancement. Product Development:  Assist in the development of new D2C products, focusing on innovation and user-centric solutions. Program Management:  Working closely with internal stakeholders including Product managers and Operations across various divisions within PayU to help develop new products and streamline the backend processes of product activation on merchants within specified timelines Product Roadmap Planning:  Contribute to the planning and execution of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends. External stakeholder management:  Identify potential external partners to develop products and maintain continuous engagement Go-to-Market Strategy:  Assist in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for new and revamped products. Analytics and Reporting:  Utilize analytics tools to track product performance, provide insights, and make data-driven decisions Skills and Qualifications: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights. Knowledge of product roadmap planning and execution. Familiarity with go-to-market strategies and product marketing. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Creative thinker with an ability to identify and solve problems effectively. Prior internship or project experience in product management or related fields is a plus. Learning Opportunities: Gain hands-on experience in product development within a leading fintech company. Work closely with experienced professionals in the field of product management and marketing. Develop a deep understanding of the payments industry and D2C product strategies.
