The Role:

Looking for QA Automation Engineer to automate software testing to ensure the quality of a product and identify defects early. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated tests using Playwright for our web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright to validate the functionality of web applications
- Test Planning: Collaborate with QA analysts and developers to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and strategies.
- Execution and Reporting: Execute automated test scripts, analyse test results, and report defects using appropriate tools and methodologies
- Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and deployment.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation related to test automation processes, frameworks, and scripts.
- Identifying enhancements and modifications that improve product quality
- Will work together with cross functional team including developers and improve the quality of the products through a systemic approach to quality.
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

Skills Required:

- Must have 2 to 4 years’ experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong experience in Test Automation using Playwright.
- Experience in Manual testing.
- Writing test plans and creating test cases for the product.
- In-depth knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web services (RESTfulAPIs).
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Github Actions, Bitbucket Pipeline, for automated test execution and integration.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in any discipline.
- Must have 2 to 4 years’ experience in Software Quality Assurance.
