Job Overview:We are seeking a seasoned technology expert to lead our modernization initiatives and drive innovation in software development.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex system enhancements and driving strategic projects forward.The role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.About the Role:As a senior developer, you will be responsible for leading design and implementation decisions for complex system enhancements.You will work closely with product owners, tech leads, and quality engineers to ensure successful project outcomes.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Mainframe technologies, including COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.Experience with Java-based platforms, such as Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices, is also highly desirable.Key Responsibilities:Lead design and implementation decisions for complex system enhancements.Develop and maintain applications using Mainframe technologies (COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2).Work on modernization projects using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, tech leads, and quality engineers.Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.Drive cloud adoption strategies and containerization using Kubernetes.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across platforms.Required Skills & Qualifications:8+ years of experience in software development.6+ years of hands-on Mainframe development experience.2-3+ years of experience with Java and related technologies.Expert-level knowledge in Mainframe technologies: COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2.Knowledge of IMS / IDMS.Ability and passion to learn modern platforms such as EJB, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, Kubernetes.Experience with relational databases (DB2) and NoSQL (MongoDB or similar).Experience implementing Microservice Architecture patterns.Working knowledge of MuleSoft, Azure Cloud, and Kubernetes.Strong leadership and decision-making skills.Benefits:Competitive salary and performance bonuses.Health and wellness benefits.Opportunity to work on modernization projects and cutting-edge technologies.
