About the Role:


We are looking for a Marketing + Automation Data Engineer with a knack for bridging data and business processes. This role is ideal for someone skilled in Python, data scraping, and API integrations, who can work with company data to drive insights and efficiencies. Familiarity with sales and marketing tools is essential, and prior experience in a marketing role would be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:


A crucial part of this role is understanding a client’s challenges and crafting tailored solutions to meet their needs. This may involve:


  • Custom Coding and Software: Developing bespoke scripts and integrations using Python and APIs. Write Python scripts for data manipulation and analysis, including proficiency with Pandas.
  • Data Scraping: Scrape and extract data using tools like Scrapy, browser extensions, or custom scripts. 
  • Data Analysis: Analyzing data to uncover actionable insights and trends. Handle and analyze company data, including metrics like turnover and employee numbers.
  • AI Processing: Leveraging AI tools like ChatGPT (including via API) to optimize workflows.
  • Automation: Setting up workflows with tools like Zapier to improve efficiency. Integrate APIs such as ChatGPT, Google Sheets, and others to enhance data workflows.
  • Work with marketing and sales software like HubSpot, Asana, Trello, and Power BI.
  • Collaborate with teams to optimize marketing and sales processes.

Requirements:


  • 3+ years of professional experience in a data engineering role
  • Proven experience with data scraping tools or libraries like Scrapy.
  • Strong Python skills, including experience with Pandas for data manipulation.
  • Hands-on experience using APIs, including ChatGPT and Google Sheets API.
  • Familiarity with company data analysis and business intelligence tools.
  • Knowledge of marketing and sales software (e.g., HubSpot, Power BI).
  • Proficiency in using automation platforms like Zapier.
  • Understanding of marketing and sales processes; prior marketing experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data protection good practice
  • Excellent written and verbal English - excellent communication skills
