Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented financial writer to join our team. As a Financial Writer, you will be responsible for researching and writing accurate, timely, and engaging market updates focused on U.S. financial markets.You will analyze and interpret key U.S. economic data, including inflation releases, labor market indicators, and other high-impact reports that drive market sentiment. You will also provide clear and concise coverage of Federal Reserve policy, including FOMC meetings, speeches, minutes, and their implications for markets.In addition, you will research and synthesize information from a wide range of credible sources, including press releases, SEC filings, earnings reports, economic data, and sell-side research. You will work closely with editors to ensure analytical accuracy, strong narrative flow, and alignment with editorial standards and deadlines.Required Skills and QualificationsAt least 5 years in financial journalism or markets-focused writing, ideally covering U.S. equities and macroeconomics;Native-level English proficiency with exceptional writing, editing, and headline-crafting abilities;Deep understanding of U.S. financial markets, including equities, bonds, commodities, FX, and the broader macro landscape;A track record of breaking news and building trusted, high-level sources;Strong grasp of Federal Reserve policy, FOMC communication, and how economic data influences market pricing;Ability to translate complex market developments, data releases, and policy shifts into clear, engaging, reader-friendly narratives;Sharp analytical skills and a rigorous approach to accuracy, sourcing, and fact-checking;Availability to work U.S. market hours (8 AM ET-5 PM ET);Familiarity with AI tools as part of the content workflow, while maintaining human judgment and editorial quality;Ability to collaborate seamlessly with editors and cross-functional teams;Competence in using market data platforms, economic calendars, and basic analytical tools to support reporting;Initiative-based approach to cover market moving developments.BenefitsA chance to join one of the world's leading financial platforms;Challenging assignments in a global environment;Excellent benefits and a high-energy work environment.What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for someone self-motivated, proactive, meticulous, and a strong team player.
